AID Editing and Document Production
Under this contract, Conwal was responsible for editing economic development reports produced by the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID's) Center for Development Information and Evaluation (CDIE). This included writing, graphic design, and desktop publishing services for 100 economic development reports a year, including publication services for producing several study series and periodicals, and graphics for briefings and presentations. The CDIE study series included program assessments, impact evaluations, technical reports, and program design and methodology reports.

Conwal's editorial and production staff produced the CDIE's two-color quarterly newsletter, Senior Managers Bulletin, and Innovative Development Approaches, a publication on promising approaches being tested by AID Missions in developing countries. On occasion, Conwal's editorial staff was asked to condense and simplify CDIE's longer technical reports for the public audience interested in economic development. Additionally, Conwal prepares graphics presentation packages for CDIE briefings to Congressional committees, USAID senior managers, and the USAID administrator. Throughout the editorial and production process, Conwal maintained its standards for quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
